Driving reach with meaningful cut through amongst younger audiences can be difficult.
But with a significant chunk of younger audiences mobile gaming (74% of 18-24 year olds), the preferred format - in-game audio - enabled UWE to effectively reach prospective undergraduates. Our objectives were to deliver resonance of key messages, engagement, and drive open-day sign ups.
The campaign was a huge success, with our audience responding outstandingly to the ad across direct clicks and brand engagements.
In our brand uplift survey, 75% of respondents said they would engage by either looking at the website, speaking to a friend about the university, or attending an open day. The campaign also delivered uplift in association with UWE Bristol's key messaging (67%) and consideration to attend an open day (69%).
